Meet Michelle Dinits, Esq.
Founder | Attorney | Advocate for Human Rights
Michelle Dinits brings over two decades of immigration law experience to her practice, helping people from all walks of life achieve stability in the United States.
A graduate of Binghamton University (B.A. in Philosophy, Politics, and Law with a minor in International Studies) and Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law (J.D. with a concentration in International Law), Michelle has built her career on serving immigrants, survivors, and families with compassion and integrity.
Before founding Dinits Law, Michelle worked with leading humanitarian organizations, including:
- Polaris Project, supporting survivors of human trafficking
- USCRI (U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants), where she worked in the legal department for both the Children’s Program and the Survivors of Trafficking Program
These experiences gave her deep insight into the human stories behind immigration law — stories of courage, loss, and hope.
Today, she uses that experience to provide thoughtful, trauma-informed legal representation for clients across the United States and around the world.
Michelle is a proud member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and serves clients nationwide from her office on Long Island, New York.
